Reflection

          Since when I was little, I was a lazy kid. I never tie my shoe lace and I wish I could have a pair of slip-on shoe but my mom doesn't know what is a slip-on shoe so never mind  I never dare to read any novel or books if I really need to. I met Siravich since Kindergarten and we never read books except the school book. The only type of book I read is manga. I love reading them. They are very fun and it was very interesting. It has a very nice story plot and it is very dramatic. It was so fun that I never read any other books. In manga we also see picture and words, this makes it very easy to visualize it in my brain and I had tons of fun. When I was assigned to do this project or whatever, Siravich told me that we should finish it fast so that we can have free time later, but as I read the book" The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". I got more and more interested in how did the character were like and how what will they do in a situation. I could visualize it in my brain and I see many pictures in my brain and it was very fun to read this book. It was a very good book to read and I hope that we could do like this again.   Thank you

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: Goals, Dreams, and Motives

          In the story "The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn", Huck who is the main character was adopted by the Widow had no goals. At first, he just looked like a guy with no purpose in his very own life. He just had fun the whole day doing nothing, playing around like crazy but as the Widow tried to teach him how to do the right thing at the right time, he began to change, he could read and write. But as he was almost to find out what is his goal and dream, his pap came back and he kidnapped Huck away, so Huck hasn't found his goal.  But after he escaped his pap, he met Jim in Jackson Island. They became good friends and they agreed that they will help each other out of trouble. So Huck got a new goal is that he and Jim go north and be free again. Huck also have a dream, his dream is to be free and rich. That he could do anything so he could be happy all the time. He wanted to have fun all his life and he doesn't want anyone to bother him with the rules and stuffs and many more. He wanted to sail north and go to a free state, where nobody is the boss so he could do whatever he wants and follow his dream. Huck is a very skeptic person, he usually doesn't trust another person at first. This is because he had motives. Huck had experience many bad things in life that he couldn't trust anyone but only himself. Like when Huck and Jim was saved by the duke, he let Jim stay at the raft so he could go and find valuable items in the palace but he didn't let Jim come too because he didn't trust him. He also have motive when he saw that the king has a bag of gold. He had a motive that if he had that bag of gold, it would make him more richer and make him closer to his goal. So this is all about Huck's Goals, Dreams, and motives.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Summary Chapter 33-42

       Huck is very worried now because Tom Sawyer could come in any moment so he went out and said that he was going to get his luggage on the raft and after that, he went out and waited for Tom Sawyer to come. When the two friends finally met, Tom Sawyer thought that Huck was dead but after he found out, he was glad. Then Huck told Tom about what happened and Tom agreed to help Jim out of slavery so they made a plan that Tom would act like Sid and they went together to Phelps's house. Soon they found out that Jim was kept in the shed behind the house. So that evening Huck and Tom went and told Jim that they were helping him out and they would go together.

       But when Huck was going to the shed the next day to free Jim, Toms says that they should do like what he read in the book, because it was very easy to free Jim and he thinks that it wasn't complicated at all and it wasn't fun. And Tom handed the book he read to Huck and after Huck read, he also thought that it was good to do so and they waited. And when Uncle Silas, Huck and Tom stole one of his shirt and they gave it to Jim. They also stole a pie and put it in when Jim got out, he could eat the pie and not be hungry. He even put the animals there so that when Jim escapes he could ride the animal and escape like in the book that he read.

       After they escapes, they found that gang again so the three boy ran with all their might but Tom was shot in at one of his leg and he can't continue any longer and their plan was all ruined. Now Huck and Jim must make a hard decision so Jim told Huck to go find the doctor while he will look after Tom. Huck then runs to the town and he accidentally found Uncle Silas and he lied that he and Sid is running after the runaway nigger and Sid is injured so they went to help Tom and Sid and they also helped Jim. To Huck's surprise, he found out later that two months ago, Miss Watson had passed away and she freed Jim. so now Jim is a free man again.

       While Huck, who still is saying that he is Tom and Tom is acting like Sid, Aunt Polly came and she was shocked to see Huck and she asked what happened. So Huck and Tom were caught and they were forced to confessed what they did, and their true identity was discovered. After that they all got a good talk together and Tom convince Huck and Jim to go back together and live a happy life but Huck said that he doesn't want to be bothered by his pap again so he is not going back. So Tom told him the story behind it, he told that on the day Huck escapes from his pap his pap followed him to that abandoned house and he was killed there so he can't bother Huck anymore. So now, Huck is happy and so was everyone.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Summary Chapter 23-32

          Huck and Jim now servants working under a duke and a king, they usually work as a worker that distribute flyers through the town and then the people will come to the palace and watch the awesome play that the duke and the king had prepared. Every time there is a play or things going on, people will always be crowded there and Huck and Jim couldn't talk because the sound is too loud. After the night of the play, Huck and Jim heard a story that the king has a bag of gold and if anyone could get it, it could make them rich  for their rest of their life. So Huck and Jim thought of a plan to steal the bag of gold and that they would escape.

       When they saw a chance when the king was not around, they quickly rushed into the king's bedroom and search for that bag of gold. After Huck and Jim found a bag of gold, and they were tempted to steal it. After they stole it, they felt guilty for the things that happened so they planned to escape but when they were about to escape, Huck heard a voice so he quickly hid the bag of gold in a casket and hurried away. Many people was there after Huck left but they don't have any idea that there was a bag of gold inside the casket. When evening came, the king realized that his bag of gold was gone. He immediately suspect that the slave or a servant must steal it but he still doesn't know that Huck and Jim were actually the ones that stole them from the king.

       Now, Huck need to find the fastest way to get out of this mess because Jim went to the river first and he was waiting there for Huck. Not before long, there were two mysterious guy that came to the palace and at first everyone thought that they were immigrants but actually they were the real heirs of the next king no the king that is ruling now. So now the king is find to be a fake king and he and the duke need to pay a very large sum of money he cheated and he was very angry. Huck saw his chance so he quickly escape to the river where Jim is waiting for him. But the king found out that Huck stole his gold so he followed him to the river. While Huck was escaping, the king and the duke was arguing why did they got caught and they were angry at each other and they started to suspect each other of betraying.

       When Huck arrived at the raft, he found that Jim was missing so he went to search for him in the woods,  then he found a boy and he asked him and the boy answered that Jim was captured by the king and was sent to Phelps farm. so he suddenly headed south to Phelps farm but on the way, he met the duke saying that he should head north but he knew that was a lie but he just went with the flow and when out of sight, he quickly went to Phelps farm. When he arrived there, he found out that they were expecting to find Tom Sawyer, his best friend, he quickly lied to them and told them that he was Tom Sawyer and they believed he was because they didn't see him a couple of years.

      

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Summary Chapter 12-22

        After Huck got caught by the woman whom he thought he could trick, he quickly ran away and returned to where his raft was. Then he heard the bell saying that it is already past midnight, he panicked and he woke Jim up and they quickly got away from the island. And when they arrived at Jackson Island, they found out that there are groups of men who are there and they knew that there was also somebody else because they saw Huck's fire camp but they don't know who. So the men were searching while Huck and Jim were hiding. While they were hiding, they saw a guy name Bill got killed by the gang. They hide in the cave, some hill, around the river rocks and they are afraid because the men might find them and kill them.

       After a week, the gang left and they were save. They found a wreck that the gang left behind so they took over the important things like some  lamps, wood, blankets, clothes, and a raft. And they made a plan that they would go to the Ohio River and then sail north and after that, they would get out of all this mess and be free again. Huck and Jim could start a new life there. So they kept sailing north.  They would only sail in the night because they are scared that someone might see them. So in the day, they would either go find food or sleep the whole day because they need energy for the night.Sometime they experience thick fog and  they can't continue so they would take a cat nap and waited for the fog to disappear so that they could continue.

       Most of the time, when they were sailing, they got noting to do so they would talk about the future when they arrived at the free state and become a free man. Huck said that he would go work and be a good man and Jim said that he will work very hard and become very rich and he will buy his own wife and house and they will have 2 children and it will be a happy ending. After some time, they saw a house with people inside so they went inside that house and found a man and he asked him inside. Inside there there was many people and he made a new friend name Buck and he convinced Huck to live with them so Huck lived there about  two weeks but after that Huck found out that the gang that Huck once met was also here so he tried to avoid but while Buck and Huck were walking one day, Buck got shot and he died. Huck was very depressed and scared so he ran away with Jim again.

        While they ran away, they met many people and most of them were finding a nigger slave that escaped because there were a price for his head, so now they were escaping all the time and now most of the people were suspecting Jim as the runaway nigger so they tried to catch Jim but a duke came to save them. After that they were serving the duke because they need to payback. But Huck and Jim were fine because they were save at least. And the duke sent them to the king and they also serve the king. They got to advertise things for the king like the mail boys. They get to make poster and promote plays for the king so that the people could go and see the play. But the people need to pay too.

Summary: Chapter 1-11

        The story start as Huckleberry Finn, live with Widow and she taught Huck to be a better person than before. she send Huck to school. And then Huck knew how to read and write in English. But sometimes, he was very bored and he wanted to revert to his usual self. The one who never did anything, but Tom Sawyer came and told him that he need to go back because it is for the better. after sometime, Tom said that he would start a band of robbers and they would go and kill people all over the town and steal their important stuffs. Like the jewelry, gold, watch, diamonds and they would get rich. But after they started the band of robbers, they don't even do real things. they go running around like crazy and they fought invisible enemy for about 2 months before they all quit the band of robber that Tom created.

        

        After sometimes, Huck heard that his paps were in town. And he tried to avoid his paps because he is scared of him. but they finally met. Paps told Huck that he should give him all the money that he got. But Huck refused because all his money was with Judge Thatcher. Then his paps tried to force Judge Thatcher to give him the money and soon they were on the court but nothing still happened. And not before long paps took Huck away and put him in a abandoned cottage in the middle of the forest. And they lived there, and everyone thought that Huck was dead. Then Huck made a plan and he escapes with a raft and headed for Jackson Island. and on the way he met Jim, the slave. and they all went together.

        Huck and Jim stayed in Jackson Island and they had fun there. they went on hunting for food. And they also found a dead man body lying on an empty house. but they didn't care about him and they took the things that they thought that would help them and went away. After that, Huck want to go back and so he did. he went back and found a women and he pretend to be a girl finding way and he thinks that she would give some valuable stuffs to him. but she caught Huck so he need to lie and after he lied he made a (Bad-poker face) and he ran away with Jim.

                It smells so sour, with no salt, so boring when eating, and the kitchen looked nice and clean. The scenery is very old and the scent makes us want to sleep. It was a place filled with instant noodle, everywhere, instant noodle. “The bowl of instant noodle smells unseemly like (tom-yum) but it is (tom yum Kung) flavored. The noodles looked mellow but are as hard as rock, so hard, rigid and hard to chew. The microwave is not working so well either. It sounds like “Ekk-pow! Ding-ping! Ping- pang, ding- dong” and the food that is cooking inside burned every time. Sometimes the banana rot on top of the microwave and it looked like fried (poop) and it smelled like tuna in the mayonnaise can. Inside the cupboard is storage. Like soy-sauce, hays- blue-boy, canned food etc... Sometimes, there are so many disparity cockroaches in the garbage can and it eating the plastic bag which makes the smell comes out and it stinks so much. There are green, black, and even white cockroach.It smelled like rotting banana mixed with fried boiled egg and preserved in vinegar. It looks like a sewage that we find under the man hole and under the streets. Some of the eating utensils like spoon, fork, knife, metal bowl. Etc… are rusty, it got a sour-smell and it had orange color in it. It also smelled like orange marmalade jam in soy-sauce. The food that was cooked was homogeneous, too plain and there was no salt to put so everything is so plain and the food got no taste in it. Most of the food smelled like tofu, just plain tofu with no sauce and it was hard to swallow because it was too plain. The frying pan is very heterogeneous, orange-brownish colored mixed with purplish – green color at the handle. The food cooked in that frying pan looked orange – blue with sesame on top. The refrigerator has a big rusty brownish red color on top but the inside of the refrigerator is still chilly and cold. On top of the refrigerator is the red apple. It looked green because it’s not ripen yet, and it smelled so sour. So the kitchen at my home is nice and clean but boring and plain!

One word that describe me

I think the word that describe is malleable. because when I think of that word, I feel good and i am a chill person which like to "go with the flow". and that makes me very proud. I have four close friend and we usually play basket ball after school. And when i play, I usually shoot the ball rather that going under the basket and score it. I would just shoot and make it in. I have been practicing shooting so that I could become good in basketball. I cannot dribble the basketball or do the lay-up thingy all I can do is shooting so I need to master that skill before I start another skill. I am also an easy boy that I usually go with the flow. and I also like to go with the flow or should i say that i follow the path of the wind. and the definition of malleable is "going with the flow, easy," so malleable describe me.
